Refund Policy

1. General Refund Terms

We strive to ensure customer satisfaction; however, due to the specialized and potentially custom nature of our products, certain conditions and limitations apply.

2. Refund Eligibility & Timeframe

  1. 90-Day Period:
    • You have 90 days from the date of purchase to request a return or exchange.
  2. Unopened Items:
    • Cash/Original Payment Refund: If the product is still sealed and unused, you may receive a refund to your original payment method, minus a 5% restocking fee.
  3. Opened Items:
    • Store Credit Only: If the product has been opened and deemed to be in good condition (at Pinnatec Auto’s discretion), you may receive store credit equal to 90% of the purchase price (10% restocking fee applies).
  4. Defective Products:
    • If the product is found to be defective (not caused by improper use or installation), we will pay for return shipping (USPS ground) and either replace the product or refund you in accordance with the conditions above.

3. Non-Refundable Items

  1. Custom Orders:
    • Custom or special-order items are non-refundable once production has started.
  2. Clearance & Final Sale Items:
    • Such items may be sold “as is” with no refunds or exchanges, unless they arrive defective.

4. Return Process & Conditions

  1. Return Authorization:
    • Contact us via our official website form to initiate a return. You must provide proof of purchase (e.g., order number) and a clear description of the reason for return.
  2. Condition of Items:
    • Returned items must include all original parts, accessories, and packaging. If missing any components, we may deduct additional fees.
  3. Shipping & Handling:
    • Unless deemed defective, the Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
    • We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit during return shipping.

5. Refund Timeline

  1. Inspection Period:
    • Once we receive your return, we will inspect it within 72 hours.
    • If we cannot complete the inspection promptly or if further testing is needed, this may extend the timeline.
  2. Refund or Credit Issuance:
    • If approved, refunds or credits generally process within up to two weeks from receipt and inspection of the returned item, though we strive to do so sooner.
