Virtual Link A1 for C7/C7.5 and D4/D4.5 Audi air suspension
Virtual Link A1 is a small plug-in controller for Audis with factory air suspension. It clicks in between the factory connectors, you connect to it from your phone, and you set the ride heights you actually want. Save them as presets, then switch between them with the Audi drive modes you already use.
Run the car higher for rough roads, speed bumps, and steep driveways, a little raised for comfort, lower for handling and looks, or all the way down for a show. Instead of living with one compromise height, you set the car up for the way you drive it.
Fitment
Requires factory air suspension on:
- 2011–2018 Audi A6, A7, and A6 allroad (C7/C7.5)
- 2013–2018 Audi S6, S7, RS6, and RS7 (C7/C7.5)
- 2010–2018 Audi A8 (D4/D4.5)
- 2012–2018 Audi S8 (D4/D4.5)

What it does
- Phone control over Wi-Fi. Connect directly to Virtual Link and adjust everything in its web app. No account and no internet connection needed.
- Live front and rear adjustment. Slide the front and rear up or down in real time, up to 200 mm above or below stock, or as far as your car’s suspension accepts.
- Unlimited presets. Save as many named heights as you like, such as Street, Low, Show, and Lift, and rename them as your setup changes.
- Factory drive modes. Link a preset to each Audi drive mode, so the car moves to your height when you change modes. For example, run Street 30 mm below stock in Comfort and a raised preset in Auto for a steep driveway.
- Override any time. Let Virtual Link follow your drive modes, or pick any preset in any mode whenever you need it.
- Calibration. Set each corner once so the car sits level and Virtual Link knows its true starting point.
- Adjustable limits. Set your own minimum and maximum heights so the car never goes somewhere it shouldn’t.
- Updates. Firmware updates are installed through the app and keep features and compatibility current.
- Works with common modifications. Keep OEM or aftermarket lowering links and ride-height sensors, and typical wheel, tire, shock, and air bag upgrades. There is nothing to undo.
Living with it
- Most days you just use your normal drive-mode buttons. Once your presets are set, Virtual Link keeps working with your phone disconnected.
- Height readings and changes update in real time, so you can see exactly what the car is doing.
- The interface is simple and easy to read, even in a parking lot.
- Unplug it and the car goes straight back to stock behavior.
Installation
Plugs inline with the factory connectors. No cutting, splicing, or soldering, and no coding. Typical install time is about 5 minutes on C7/C7.5, about 10 minutes on D4.5, and about 45 minutes on D4.
- Reach the factory air-suspension connector for your car. The installation guide shows where it is.
- Unplug the factory connector.
- Click the Virtual Link harness in between.
- Tuck the module away.
- Connect from your phone and follow the calibration steps.
To return to stock, unplug Virtual Link and reconnect the original connectors. Lowering links, coding, and other changes you have made stay as they are.

- You may see occasional white dashboard messages while setting up or making large height changes. If a yellow or red message appears, switch back to a normal preset or remove the module and contact us.
