Compatibility

1. What cars support Virtual Link?
See the Compatibility section above. Factory air suspension is required.

2. How do I confirm my exact car is supported?
If your exact trim/year isn’t listed but you think it should be, contact us through the Support page and we’ll confirm.

3. Does it work with aftermarket lowering links / ride height sensors?
Yes. Virtual Link works with aftermarket lowering links and upgraded ride height sensors on supported vehicles. If you have an unusual setup, reach out and we’ll confirm.

4. Will it work if my car has DRC (not air suspension)?
Not currently. DRC support may be explored in the future, but Virtual Link today is for factory air suspension vehicles.

5. Can I control front/rear independently?
Yes. Front and rear can be adjusted independently, and calibration allows corner trim adjustment.

6. What does Virtual Link replace? Do I still need lowering links?
Virtual Link gives you on demand height control and presets. No, you do not still need lowering links but their presence does not hurt.

1. How long does it take once I place an order?
Each unit is assembled in San Diego. Lead time is listed for each on the product page, generally ship time is about 4 business days.

2. Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International shipping is available to most countries. Rates and available services are shown at checkout.

3. Can I buy for a shop / bulk order?
Yes. Contact us through the Support page for bulk/shop orders.

Install & Setup

1. Is Virtual Link plug-and-play?
Yes. 100% plug-and-play. No cutting, splicing, or soldering.

2. How long does install take?
It varies by vehicle. Some installs take ~5 minutes; others can take longer depending on access. Check your product page for specific install notes.

3. What tools do I need?
Exact requirements vary by vehicle. See the individual Virtual Link page for your model. Some Virtual Links require no tools at all, like our C7 Virtual Link.

4. Can I revert to stock?
Yes. Unplug Virtual Link and reconnect the factory connectors. No permanent modifications.

5. Does it require calibration? What does calibration do?
Calibration is optional within the Virtual Link app. It lets you trim/level the car if your factory ride height is uneven and helps ensure presets behave consistently.

6. Does this alter my car’s computers? Do I need to remove it for tuning/coding?
Virtual Link does not require coding and is designed to operate without flashing ECU software. It can remain installed for normal tuning/coding workflows.

App & Connectivity

1. What’s the difference between a Web App and a Mobile App?
Today, Virtual Link uses a web app: your phone connects to Virtual Link’s Wifi and you open the control page in your browser. A mobile app is installed from the App Store/Play Store and typically connects via Bluetooth.

2. Do I need an account?
No.

3. Do I need internet/cell service to use it?
No. Your phone connects directly to Virtual Link.

4. Can multiple phones control it?
Yes, but only one device can control it at a time.

5. Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes.

6. When is the mobile app coming out?
See the What’s Next section for the current roadmap. When it’s ready, we’ll provide a seamless guided upgrade path for existing users.

Behavior, Safety & Warnings

1. Will it throw faults or dash warnings?
In normal use it should not. You may see occasional informational messages while the car is actively adjusting (e.g., “Car is raising”).

2. Are there safety limits to prevent extreme settings?
Yes. Limits are built in and user configurable. Use common sense and adjust responsibly.

3. Does it change ride quality?
Ride feel changes with height: lower tends to feel more direct/firm; higher tends to feel more compliant.

4. What happens if my phone disconnects mid adjustment?
Your phone is not required to remain connected for any functionality.

Warranty, Returns & Legal

1. Does this void my warranty?
Warranty outcomes vary by dealer and situation. Virtual Link is fully reversible and can be removed without permanent modifications. We recommend you remove your Virtual Link before having any warranty work done.

4. Is it street legal?
